ANTEATER ANIMATION IN PRODUCTION!

As I initially started putting my ideas into book format, I always saw them as animations as well. In actual fact thinking about the characters moving around really helped me design the books. So we have decided to give it a bash and make the first book into an animation as well. Once we finish I will post it up on the ’usuals‘ – Vimeo and Youtube, but we will also put it up on our website www.andotherveryimportanttales.com

As we start to generate artwork for the animation we will throw out some visual morsels onto all the relevant portals. We are currently wrestling with either sticking to the visual style of the book, or whether to we start to introduce some more ’filmy’ elements. But all very exciting! And part of the conflict that wages in your head whilst you’re in that creative development.

The first series will comprise of five books, and I am 90% finished on the remaining four. These include: The Rhythm in the Robot; Chameleon in a Cannon; Five Toes in a Jar and Monkey in a Bag. I have been working on series two and may swap out some of these for the newer stories – but that is to be decided. Thanks for listening
